Cary Carpet Cleaning - Raleigh Carpet Cleaning

Raleigh Carpet Cleaning brings a new kind of value to homes in spite of the tough economy from their online home, www.RaleighCarpetCleainingPro.com.

Raleigh, NC, June 23, 2010 – Recent economic woes may have kept North Carolina residents from large remodeling projects, but they can come home to a fresh new environment with the help of Carey and Raleigh’s flooring experts, Raleigh Carpet Cleaning. And now, there is an easy way to find them from any computer or smart device: www.RaleighCarpetCleaningPro.com.

Bill Long, owner of Raleigh Carpet Cleaning, understands the value his services extend to his customers. “Fresh, newly cleaned carpets bring a new vitality to a home,” says the 15 year veteran of the carpet and duct cleaning business. “It just feels so good to walk in your front door after work, take a nice, deep breath and know everything is clean and tidy.”

Customers of Raleigh Carpet Cleaning can expect more than just a cursory once-over, too.  Bill Long and his staff clean every carpet deeply, removing years worth of worn-in dirt build-up from the carpet, removing offensive, stubborn odors that can plague home owners, and protecting each carpet from the onslaught of stains which are sure to come over the years.

Carpets are not the only things that can use some freshening up, says Nichols. “Some of our customers are truly amazed at how clean and new their upholstery looks after we visit. Couches they thought were due for replacement suddenly have another several years of life.” He says having the carpet and upholstery cleaned on a scheduled basis can save a lot of money over time, too. “If you take care of things, they stay newer and last longer. You wouldn’t leave 5 years worth of crumbs, dirt and pizza sauce on the kitchen table. Yet, that is exactly what so many people in Raleigh, Durham, Carey and everywhere do with their floors and furniture.”

Not everything can be done on a scheduled basis, though. Raleigh Carpet Cleaning offers emergency water extraction services to their customers 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. That can be an invaluable service when the pipes break in the middle of the night. Bill Long even recommends keeping his phone number close at hand. “Everybody keeps numbers for the police, fire and what have you. Well when your tub is leaking or your pipes break, you don’t want to be looking around for the phone book. Program our number into your cell phone or grab your smart phone and go to www.RaleighCarpetCleaningPro.com. We’re available 24/7.”

Removing Pet Stains from Carpet – Home Remedies

Carpet stains are a common problem in most households today. While there are cleaning products available to remove these unsightly stains, these products are unkind to your pocketbook. Instead of rushing to the store to purchase a household carpet cleaner, save time by removing the stains immediately after they appear – and save money by using homemade cleaning solutions.

You may be surprised to find that you can easily and affordably clean your carpet stains with several common household products that you may already own. For example, you can use lemon juice, vinegar, detergents, and even rubbing alcohol. By understanding how these products work, and putting them into practice in your home, you can effectively eliminate the need for commercial cleaning products.

Pet stains, and other common carpet stains, can be easily cleaned as follows:

Pet Stains

One of the easiest ways to remove pet stains is by using a solution consisting of one spoonful of clear, household ammonia to one half of a cup of cold water. It is best to apply this solution from a spray bottle, but you can also apply it directly to the carpet. Be sure that the solution does not soak through to the carpet backing. Once you have covered the soiled area, blot the stain thoroughly with paper towels, and then allow the carpet to dry completely.

Another option for removing pet stains is a simple detergent solution made from dish soap or hand soap. First, ensure that your detergent does not contain bleach or lanolin, as these may stain your carpet. Then, mix one quarter of a spoonful of detergent with one quart of water, and clean the stain as you normally would.

A very easy option is to simply use water to rehydrate the stain and allow for effective removal. The best way to do this is by using a steam cleaner on your carpet. Be sure to allow the area to dry completely once you have finished.

Ink Stains

Isopropyl rubbing alcohol is a common product that can be purchased at most grocery stores or pharmacies. To remove ink stains, apply the alcohol to a clean, white kitchen or bath towel, or a white paper towel. Next, blot the stain in one direction, being careful not to spread the stain to other areas. You may need to reapply the alcohol to a fresh white towel during the process, repeating this until the stain has been removed.

Lager and Wine Stains

Mix together one part white vinegar to one part water and pour the solution into a spray bottle. Using the spray bottle, saturate the stain and allow it to stand for 10 to 15 minutes. Using a sponge, systematically clean the stain in a circular motion. Once this has been completed, wash the area with warm water and carefully brush the carpet back to its natural position. Completely cover the area with layers of white paper towels. Apply pressure or weight to the paper towels, and allow them to saturate until the area has completely dried.

Views Of A Raleigh Carpet Cleaning Expert…

Selecting that perfect carpet requires careful attention to the visual, artistic, and technical design or the material. Every year, well over one hundred thousand colors, styles, and textures of carpet are displayed before the public. Finding the one that meets your specific needs can be a daunting task.

The method of carpet construction, the applied textures, the colors, and the pattern designs create a virtual array of open doors to imagination, color adaptation, and personal decoration creativity. Whether seeking the look of a formal environment or a casual setting, putting together the perfect combination of texture and color brings harmony to overall room designs.

When shopping for carpet, consider foremost the planned region of installation and the local area traffic pattern. Materials, texture, and carpet construction as is suited to a specific area and purpose will determine the durability and lifespan of the installed carpet.

Carpets are most often manufactured out of nylon, polyester, and olefin. Each of these fibers displays a unique application specific quality. Though it is the most expensive of the three, nylon is also softer and more resilient than olefin or polyester. Thus the fit to any room in your home is obvious; nylon is suitable even for those areas of extreme traffic.

Though somewhat less resilient than nylon, and therefore less suitable for high traffic areas, polyester is much more cost efficient. A superior level of stain resistance makes this fiber perfect for bedrooms, dining rooms, and other less traveled areas.

Olefin, a solution dyed fiber, is used to produce a highly stain resistant carpet. Because carpets made of olefin are colorfast, a solution of beach and water may be used in their cleaning. In addition to people stains, olefin fibers are mildew, fade, and mold resistant. These types of carpets, when enhanced in durability through Berber loop pile construction, last well outdoors as well as indoors.

Basic carpet construction is in two flavors: Berber and plush. Whereas the continuous level loop style of Berber will not crush or matt, the sheared loops of plush construction results in strands that stand upright and that can be pressed down. However, the tight weave of Berber carpets result in a product that is hard under the foot, uncomfortable to the touch (thus difficult to sitting and sleeping), and easily damaged by the nails of pets.

Walkways, living rooms, entrance areas, or any other major traffic environment will greatly benefit from the use of Berber carpet. Yet the very feature that makes Berber carpet perfect for heavy traffic areas leave it as an unattractive option for use in bedrooms and bathrooms.

On the other hand, the soft, easy walking touch of plush type carpets whisper of bedroom use. Add in strong sound and thermal insulation properties, and plush carpet weighs in with its own unique strengths. Remember, however, that when subjected to intense levels of foot traffic, plush carpet will crush and matt. But there are methods of helping this situation. By pairing with a tight, low pile construction of nylon fiber, the matt and crushing of plush carpet can be restrained. The natural hardwearing quality of nylon fiber, and the increased support that accompanies a tightly woven construction makes for a durable plush carpet.

Carpet warranties range from 5 to 30 years. By default, stairs (if covered at all) are usually set as separate from the general warranty. Lack of installation of new carpet padding at the time of new carpet installation will likely invalidate any stated warranty.
